Similarities and differences between Bosch 3000 and 6000

The Bosch 3000 is only able to send dialling signals to you which means that when you answer your phone,  you will hear an alarm noise to indicate that your alarm has been triggered.

Aside the  built-in diallers, both the Bosch 6000 and 3000 are able to have an IP module to connect to the alarm panel for back to base monitoring or self monitoring via your smartphone.

The Bosch 6000supports  a wifi (wireless) keypad which removes the need to run a cable to the router, hence reducing installation costs.  The  Bosch 3000 however , does not support an option to add a wifi keypad and only the hard wired icon or TouchOne keypads. can be used with this system.   The Bosch 3000 panel  also requires the IP module to have a static IP address, where the 6000 does not.

If you have just scrolled to the bottom of this article,  just to recap some of the key differences between the Bosch 6000 and Bosch 3000 are listed below:

The Bosch 6000 can have:

  • Proximity tags

  • Finger scanner
  • SMS notifications
  • Wireless keypad

The Bosch 3000 does not support  any of these features
